I received my B.A. in Classics from UC Davis in 2020, after which I spent a year teaching Latin and History before attending The University of Arizona to pursue an M.A. in Classics with an emphasis in Philology. While there, I developed a research interest in the literary aspects of Roman historiography, particularly on characterization and rhetoric in the works of Sallust and Tacitus. Before coming to UCSB I taught Latin for two more years in the Phoenix area. While I am here, I am as excited to develop my pedagogical skills as I am to become a better scholar of the Classics.
