Erin Lam (UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellow) and Helen Morales (Argyropoulos Professor of Hellenic Studies) are convening a colloquium that will examine what it means to “do classics” and “classical reception studies” in a time when the need for decolonizing the field has become increasingly urgent.
The colloquium, which will take place on Saturday, May 18, will be structured around the discussion of pre-circulated papers. Confirmed participants include: Sasha-Mae Eccleston (Brown); Sukaina Hirji (Penn); Kelly Nguyen (UCLA); and Mathura Umachandran (Exeter, UK).
